  In my class, students who Listen To Reading listen to online e-books. 
Students who want to Read with Partner go to stand at the rack of
magazines, reader's theater, and newspapers that I have to choose from for
this selection.  They wait until the next person chooses to Read with a
Partner and then they pair up.  It takes me about 30 seconds to call
everyones' names and about another 60 for everyone to get settled.

  The EOG is our state mandated end of the year tests.  I do substitute
the writing with that.
