I don't, but Michael Smith and Jeff Wilhelm talk lots about alternate literacies. My own two younger boys are both avid gamers, and though they are both capable and able readers, they don't read for pleasure in the same way that I do. They do, however, have intricate online communities where communication via the internet plays a prime role. While neither is likely (though with the right book, it happens) to curl up with a novel, at any given moment they could be reading a detailed multi-page procedural on how to beat a given level of a game. Often these technically well-written pieces are authored by other young gamers. My thinking is that with struggling or resistant readers who are avid gamers, talking about the kinds of reading strategies they may already use in this context and helping them to generalize to other kinds of reading might make sense.
