I am trying to figure out the same thing. This is what I've decided.
(I have just finished reading The CAFE book, which is a must read
after Daily 5) The Daily Five has a reading workshop component
embedded into it. I will use this time to teach the strategies
outlined in The CAFE book, as well as the strategies from MOT and
RWM. I am trying to plan it out and make a rough sketch. Sometimes
the mini-lessons might not be so mini, but I think this is the way
that will work best for me.
