We also use DIBELS. If you don't have to use it - DON'T. It is useful for K, 1 and low 2 students. After that it is pretty useless. Our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teachers must give it, but I follow up with an Informal Reading Inventory for more accurate data. I don't do one with every student, just the students the teachers recommend.
