We purchased guided reading material for older readers, maybe beginning with
level G. The teachers liked them; I didn't hear any complaints about content.

I did look at the content, but did not use it. I was a content specialist.
Again, I didn't hear any complaints.

my question to you is how is the story content... we purchased guided
reading books from a-z many years ago from Pacific Learning when we were first
getting our feet wet with leveled readers ... but now I am really sorry...
the content is awful and I much prefer rigby pm or just leveled trade books
for guided reading... what a pain to try to explain to kids and
parents....that at least in primary a-l there is no content.

What I liked is that there were audio cds to go along with them. They
could be used for guided reading, then go into the practice for fluency phase.
There are grade level kits, but I think the titles are also available
separately.

Can't remember the publisher, but there are fantastic ones at Really Good
Stuff!! They are expanding their inventory tremendously, and they are SO
fun for the kids. Just check them out on their site.
