The Pot that Juan Build though a picture book, might be interesting to use with them. It is a picture book biography, told one side of the spread as a story-like cumulative story and on the other with detailed background information. There are very readable pieces on the artist available on the internet. The artist is Juan Quezada. Surely there is plenty out there about Cesar Chavez and making connections between the work of Ghandi and King makes for great conversations.
