Scholastic has great leveled texts that are appealing to the students and are authentic texts. Our school recently ordered a leveled bookroom, which provides book sets of six fiction or nonfiction novels that are leveled according to Fountas and Pinnell levels. They have been awesome for guided reading and their is a wide selection of books appealing to all interests. I'm sure if budget does not allow for an entire bookroom, you can certainly purchase smaller sets.
