I'm a big fan of "show don't tell" when it comes to guiding teachers into new ideas. How about a book with a video and discussion guide? Here's one example - Stenhouse has many more.

Nothing too overwhelming--(Calkins' The Art of Teaching Writing would be too much...). Looking for something short, to the point yet gives a good overview of writing in the elementary classroom. Any ideas? > Thanks so much, > Deborah > > > _______________________________________________ > Mosaic mailing list > [email protected] > To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to > http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org. > > Search the MOSAIC archives at http://snipurl.com/MosaicArchive. > _______________________________________________ Mosaic mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe or modify your membership please go to http://literacyworkshop.org/mailman/options/mosaic_literacyworkshop.org.
