I have used it with second and third grade. I loved it. You definitely have to spend time figuring out your lesson structure and pacing though cause it is not mapped out nor is it scripted or anything like that. But, I have to say that the years I used Units of Study, my students wrote more than ever and became much better writers than in previous years. Rebecca
