The Words Their Way 4th edition comes with a CD and a DVD. The word
sorts are on the CD. When you open it you have 2 options either the
Data Base, which you only download once, and the Word Sort Option on
the same opening screen.
The unfortunate part is that there is no index or list of actual
patterns for all of the sorts. You have to go to each spelling stage
and open the skills to see each sort. You don't really need any
supplemental books if you have the CD.
We love the program but this is one of the non-teacher friendly aspects
of it.

Hi there are a few sorts in the back of the book, otherwise, there are
seperate books you purchase for the sorts - there is a book for each
developmental level of speller.

Where on the CD would I find the word sorts? I've reviewed the CD and
am confused as where the sorts are located. I'm compiling levels C-E
for the 5th grade teachers...I know I must be nuts...or a good friend.
