If you're looking for a hard passage that doesn't need to be incomprehensible 
you could go to writing by some of the "classics" of English lit.--Henry James 
has very long sentences that require slow reading to figure out what's going 
on.  Middlemarch might feel challenging.  James Joyce?  Something less well 
known by Shakespeare?  A poem by Dylan Thomas?  --All will be tough to read 
quickly.
