You can use AR book finder. This should help you find leveled books in from
different genres. Good luck!

Subject: [MOSAIC] middle school ideas???

I am going to be teaching a weekly summer school reading class for
middle schoolers.

I am interested in some read aloud suggestions that can work for
everyone from the innocent 11-year-olds to the more worldly
13-year-olds. I need books that I can read out loud in four hours or
less without rushing. Any ideas?

I also wonder how many books it would be reasonable to expect kids to
read during eight weeks over the summer. They get to choose what books
they read.

Any suggestions you have about making the class successful would be
appreciated.

We'll meet just once a week for two hours each week. I'm planning on
dividing each class session into different parts. We cannot do all one
thing for two hours!
Thanks!
Jan
