Words their Way by Dr. Bear. This uses a developmental spelling analysis as the assessment piece. It has over 40 years of research to back it and it has the sound component.

Do you have advice of spelling programs, books or activities (and listst) that you have found beneficial to help keds get inside the words rather than just memorizing them for the test?
