F&P seem to be more oriented to informing teachers what to teach along a continuum of skill development. That's just my take...I have the book and have just read through a few parts. Well done and very thorough. However, thanks to a few of you who referred me to First Steps...these type of continuums for reading and writing are exactly what I'm looking for. Leave it to the Aussies!
