I will have the ultimate choice. What I need is one novel to use for a deep analysis with my classes, and then I'm hoping that if I find others of interest, I could use them for lit circles. It's funny too because years ago I tried Elijah of Buxton and EVERY single student I had hated it!!! I wound up abandoning it half way through, yet if you look at the reviews, it sounds decent. Oh well.

I went to the reviews too. One of the 5 star raters said that most o fthe low reviews were from kids being forced to read it. Also sounds like more mature young people like it better. So will you have choice??? Like lit circles. It might still be a good choice. It is not as action packed for sure.
