Is amyone familiar with the SuperKids program made by the Rowland
Foundation? Our district is piloting it in K-2 for reading. It seems to
be a very skills-based program that doesn't place a lot of emphasis on
self-selected reading.

I teach 4th grade and we are already concerned about the great
word-callers that we have with poor comprehenders. Not sure this program
will prepare our kids for what they really need.

Also, I wonder how it aligns to the Common Core.

Thanks.
