"Storyworks" by Scholastic ("Scope" is the middle school version). They
usually have a debate page, presenting two sides of an issue (school
uniforms: yes or no?, peanut-free schools: yes or no?, year-round school:
yes or no?) They usually have a good compare/contrast article, too. I love
it! Always has fiction, nonfiction/current events, poetry, and Reader's
Theater. Comes every other month.
