I am new to Daily 5 and am trying to figure out how to teach a whole class novel, Maniac Magee, in this format. Is it possible? I teach 6th grade in 80 minute blocks. How would I keep everyone on the same page with comprehension of the book while doing the components of Daily 5 or stations? Any suggestions are appreciated.
