imo, it's almost always worth it on small corpora. However, on large,
europarl size corpora, you have to pick you POS tag/morph factor etc
carefully to get significant improvements.

Subject: [Moses-support] factored models--is it worth it?

Hello all,

I was thinking to start building a factored model, but it is way too much
work. My target language is Greek, and although I've been searching the
Internet for months, I can't find Greek tagged text or parameter files for
pos taggers. Even though I will most probably start this project, I want
your opinions on whether it is really worth it for real-world usage. Are the
decoding results so much better when factored models are used?

Thank you

Panos
