Hi Jason, I tried to email you at the address given here, but I see you've moved on.
I'm currently thinking about building a system for Japanese to English, and I have a number of questions about it. I wonder if you could throw any light on any of them? The questions I have, are; - Is it worth it? - Is a high end iMac (3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo、8GB RAM、1TB HDD) good enough for the job? - Is there a community of J > E Moses people who are interested in working on commercial applications and data sharing? I know the first question is very vague. What I have in mind is using my own data from about 8 years of TM memories, technical medical and patent data mined from the web, and TAUS resources. I'm hoping that smaller quantities of good quality, more focused data will give better results than the Yomiuri and Tanaka data. Any suggestions or advice will be much appreciated. Also if you're interested in some sort of collaboration on this, I'd be more than interested. Thanks and best wishes, Rod _______________________________________________ Moses-support mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/moses-support
