To me, the total time would be reported in the "translation time", which actually does seem to implement that (minus threading bugs).
Moses seems to differentiate between doing lookups in the phrase table or grammar (collecting options) and searching over those options (which also includes lookups to the LM -- oh well). If we keep all 3 numbers, it would seem reasonable that "translation time" and "search" should serve different purposes.
