Hi, this means that you have a BLEU score of 20.07.
The rest are additional statistics: - the 1/2/3/4-gram precision - the brevity penalty resulting from the length ratio of output by reference - the number of words in the output (hyp) and reference. You are using a very small test set of maybe only 10 sentences, so this BLEU score is not all that meaningful as a measure of the quality of the MT system. -phi On Tue, Sep 30, 2014 at 4:33 AM, Ihab Ramadan <[email protected]> wrote: > Dears, > > After running multi-blue.perl script on my output from Moses I got this > line > > ./multi-blue.perl –lc reference < hypothesis > > BLUE = 20.07, 46.1/23.6/14.8/10.1 (BP=1.000, ratio=1.032 , hyp_len=228, > ref_len=221) > > What this output means? > > > > Best Regards > > *Ihab Ramadan*| Senior Developer| Saudisoft - Egypt | *Tel * +2 02 330 > 320 37 Ext- 0 | Mob+201007570826 | Fax+20233032036 | *Follow us on *[image: > linked]* | **[image: ZA102637861]** | **[image: ZA102637858]* > > > > _______________________________________________ > Moses-support mailing list > [email protected] > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/moses-support > >
