I fixed this with height and width: width 1280 height 720 And the videos created by motion detection are correct. But, the time elapse video only shows a quarter of the picture, as if that's confused to the frame size. Is there any way to fix this? Do you get the same behavior? If not, then I would suspect you're recording at too high a resolution. I never got motion to work well with resolutions as high as you're trying to record. Having said that, I've only used web cams so I have no idea what might be expected with an IP camera.
