more readily available SBCs than the CHIP like NanoPi M1. I bought 2 for
$25 US each including shipping. Then you can offload all the processing to
the camera. Also, you will not have to worry as much about security like
you do with proprietary IoT devices (assuming you know how to harden
Linux).
