Subject: [Motion-user] MotioneyeOS: issue with Timestamp
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

I have successfully implemented a surveillance system using MotioneyeOS; I have
two RB PI Zero Ws as surveillance cameras and a PB PI Zero as Hub.
I have a couple of questions, if somebody can help me:
1) why the timestamp on video cameras starts from 1970 and not from the current
date? Both are connected to the HUB via WIFI and the setting is:
Date Method HTTP
HTTP Host dates google.com
Date Updating Timeout 10 seconds
Date Updating Interval 900 seconds
I also tried with NTP but it does not work.
2) What is the port number that must be inserted in the forwarding of the
Router to access the HUB from the outside?
thank you very much :)

(my last post was unreadible due html formatting, so once more...)
i have done some tests.
(Stream0 set to 1920x1080@10fps and 3MBit)
2 cams 320*180 -> 130 percent (motion did rescale to 184 because of
modulo 8)
2 cams 640*360-> 130 percent
1 cam? 640x360 -> 70 percent
(changing Stream0 to 1920x1080@5fps and 1MBit does not change anything)
old way, without netcam_highres:
2 cams 640x360 ->? 45 percent
at the moment the best for my little PI...

I definitely wouldn't recommend foscam cameras though. There are too many
issues with the software. I can no longer log into mine to configure it unless
I fire up a virtual machine running a browser from several years ago. Their
support is also very poor in my experience.
