I've got several from reolink that I use on my system, and have recommended
them to 3 other people who are also happy with them (not all are using motion
though!).

For full disclosure, I very occasionally see a corrupt image, I think
mainly/primarily when the motion daemon has just started on a multi-camera
system. I currently believe this is a software bug in ffmpeg or motion, but
I've not had time to narrow it down, and it's very infrequent on my system. The
same corruption doesn't seem to occur in reolink's official app. It could be
related to the fact that I've using the hires (4 or 5 mega pixel) streams to do
motion detection on.

The hardware seems good though, and their support team did quickly replace the
camera I was seeing on the corruption on in case it was a hardware fault.

Adam,

I've been using a Foscam FI9805W with Motion (via RTSP) for several years.
It's been reliable (installation is outside, but under an eave), but like
the other respondent I have to maintain an old web browser in order to
access it. Lately, the camera has also been slow to rejoin my wireless
network when the network goes down or when I have to power off the camera.
Stories like this
<https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2016/02/eavesdropping_b_1.html> make
me worry about the security of these cameras. On the other hand, it still
working after 2+ years.

Thanks,
Alex

I definitely wouldn't recommend foscam cameras though. There are too many
issues with the software. I can no longer log into mine to configure it unless
I fire up a virtual machine running a browser from several years ago. Their
support is also very poor in my experience.
