I'm struggling to find much on the web and was after pointers to anybody
that may have got a PTZ camera to do motion tracking to centre the motion
area using HTTP PTZ commands.

I'm specifically thinking about the Xiaomi DaFang Hack and if motion could
be used to replicate auto tracking of objects.

Thanks
Jake

You can use the pre_capture/post_capture to get the surrounding images /
frames around the event and also use the conversion specifiers along
with the locate_motion to see where it is changing and by how much.

There is a guide but no cliff notes.? May want to check out the setup
mode or debug(aka motion) images.? The guide for 4.1.1 is at
https://motion-project.github.io/motion_config.html

Not sure about the truck.? Sort of depends on whether it was going fast,
frame rate specified, going slow and blocked most of image and you had
lightswitch to something low like 10 etc.

Hi, Everyone
I use the Logitech C920R to distribute live to Youtube.

The commands are as follows.
#! / bin / sh
YOUTUBE_URL = "rtmp: //a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2"
KEY = "xxxx-yyyy-zzzz"
v4l2 - ctl --device = / dev / video0 - set - fmt - video = width = 1280,
height = 720
ffmpeg - ar 44100 - ac 2 - f alsa - i hw: 1,0 - f v 4 l 2 - codec: v h
264 - framerate 30 - video-- size 1280 x 720 --itsoffset 0.5 \
-i / dev / video0 - copyyinkf - codec: v copy - codec: a aac - ab 128 k
- g 10 - strict experimental \
-f flv $ YOUTUBE_URL / $ KEY
1> / dev / null 2> / dev / null &

When I run this command, I get the following message.

What is this message telling me?
Is there anything to improve?
