Hi,

In a previous version 3.X I could change most of the parameters for motion
from the web-interface. Then I upgraded to 4.1.1 and now there are no
parameters that can be edited from the web-interface.

The web server is working though; I can see the two video-streams from the
camera. But when I click on "camera 1" I don't get the pull-down menu with
params anymore.

Any ideas?

/Peter

There's a new config option to help secure/limit the webcontrol interface. Have
a look at this section of the guide:

i recently upgraded from 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 using git pull, and after a bunch
of reconfiguring because the conf file changed so much, i am trying to
figure out the new web interface for configuration and control.

I tried the css version, and did not see any way to check the status of
detection (on or off), just a way to start and stop detection. In the text
version, I get no response from:
 [ip]:[port]/[camera #]/detection/status
Also, the text version of the interface is just plain text, and does not
allow me to navigate through the controls like the older version.

Can someone help direct me to a way to check the detection status in the
web interface now?
