That sounds like the problem I was having. Have you set webcontrol_parms? I
think it needs to be at 2.

Hi all.

Using motion to create a timelapse movie with a frame each 60s.

Is there any way to have a second timelapse movie with say one frame each day?
I'm also using snapshots each 30 minutes, so it would surely be possible to
combine these snaps into a movie by hand, but having it done automagically
would be nice :-)

Maybe even someone has done a script or a cronjob already and could share?

Regards
Roman

Yes, I have set:

webcontrol_parms 2

But this only allows most configuration parameters to be edited in the web
interface.

It still does not show the detection status in the css version if the interface.

I tried the css version, and did not see any way to check the status of
detection (on or off), just a way to start and stop detection. In the text
version, I get no response from:

 [ip]:[port]/[camera #]/detection/status

Also, the text version of the interface is just plain text, and does not allow
me to navigate through the controls like the older version.

Can someone help direct me to a way to check the detection status in the web
interface now?

This is know issue
https://github.com/Motion-Project/motion/issues/661#issuecomment-381152393

release
