Hi
Im running motion on linux mint 19 64bit. Motion is working fine but when i
restart or shutdown the pc it takes 5 mins to end the motion service &
shutdown or restart.. but if i manually end the service by kill -9 motion
pid the system restarts normally..
So is there a way to end the motion service automatically
Im starting motion manually using sudo motion
Hope you understand my question

Motion comes with a systemd service file. So you should enable the systemd
motion service. This starts motion on boot and stops motion on shudown. If
needed you can restart/start/stop the service.
