Motion is working fine but when i restart or shutdown the pc it takes 5 mins to end the motion service & shutdown or restart.. but if i manually end the service by kill -9 motion pid the system restarts normally.. So you should enable the systemd motion service. This starts motion on boot and stops motion on shudown.
