Hi
a long time since I posted on this list, so forgive if its already
been asked.
I acquired recently an Ubiquiti AirCam IP cam. searching on line , I
found a reference to its use on zoneminder, something a bit alien to me,
that it uses ffmpeg .
Has anyone had any success getting one of these ip-cams working with
motion. I have tried all 17 video settings in motion.conf without sucess.
TIA

I couldn't get RTSP out of my Ubiquiti G3 pro cam, but I really like it.
I'm currently running their video software which allows exporting RTSP and
pointing motion at that instead of the camera. Not really efficient, but it
works for now. I'm not sure what my plan is for the future as Ubiquiti
doesn't have an API for their video software and I'm pretty set on an
external web page for viewing events at this point. I was hoping that some
of the people who were using tensorflow would respond to some of the other
threads so I could get motivated to make a change to something.

Can you be more specific, what do you call a "failure"? Is there
kernel panic? Motion segfault? Any errors in syslog? System hangs or
reboots? What OS are you running now? Which ffmpeg version installed?
Have you been able to connect serial console? Logs required: motion
configure, compile and run
