Hello

I would like to know if there is a way that I can remove the 50Hz or 60Hz
flicker of LED lights from the stills and videos that Motion records? I
know this I possible within the settings of some IP cameras but for some
cameras this is not a configurable option (for example on a USB webcam fed
to a Raspberry Pi for Timelapse photography).

I could try a median filter on a sequence of snapshots if I could configure
Motion to take (say) 5-10 shots on each snapshot interval. Is this
configuration possible within Motion?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Martin

Hi all,

As you may know, there is a way to programmatically trigger motion event,
using webcontrol and "/action/eventstart" url. In my setup I use
on_movie_end configuration option to save that movie. Now I need to
determine whenever the movie was produced using manual trigger or the
motion itself. How can I do that?
