Or there may be some timed process doing a self-test of some sort. You never really know what sorts of stuff that is put into the firmware to run random test at random times. But yours also changed the zoom, and was slower. Key detail I see, is the zoom position at the end is the same as at the beginning, which would be harder for a person to do.
