This camera has only been connected for a week and I do see it making minor adjustments at dusk and dawn. This looked more like focal length was changed to view what couldn't be seen and then changed back to what it was originally. Message-ID: <CAAMCDecAfRJhbPQHeqER3f9sQf5n+mFxZBf1dKTs17YF1g=f...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" If a lens is controlled with no feedback it will may be validating how long it takes (time wise) to pull it back to 0, and then time going back to where it was, and make sure it matches what it has in memory, If there was a sudden reboot it may just be setting the lens is where the setting says it should be (no feedback means it purely uses timing to position it and has zero idea where it really is. These sorts of systems are at risk of not setting the position right when some part of the system can cause one direction or the other to put more load on the motor and invalidate that the timing is the same going both forward and backward). if you have ssh/telnet access and/or can turn it on, and/or have uptime reported in the interface you might be able to tell. I also have rsyslogd running and listening on the syslog network port just so my cameras that support syslog can send messages to the computer when events happen.
