I've tried bookworm on the rpi4 - both motionplus and motion and did
not have any success running motion. This was with both a camera module
and usb camera, 32 and 64 bit.?Errors were usually to do with camera
connecting and watchdog timeouts. I went back to bullseye. I've had a
look at motionplus but couldn't get it running and didn't want to spend
more time investigating when I was already familiar with motion.

I *did* manage to get bookworm working on the rpi zero though, and
currently have it working with a camera module.
