I have netcam_url set at v4l2:///dev/video0 I have motion listening on ports 8080 and 7123. That part seems OK. However there is an error message: netcam_rtsp_open_context: norm: Unable to open camera((null)): Device or resource busy I looked at protection of /dev/video0 which is: crw-rw---- 1 root video 81, 13 25 jun 18:31 /dev/video0 I added group video to the motion account > groups motion motion : motion video Any clue on what causes that motion is unable to open /dev/video0 ? -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2024 15:02:01 -0500 From: Roger Heflin <roger.hef...@gmail.com> To: Motion discussion list <motion-user@lists.sourceforge.net> Subject: Re: [Motion-user] Problem running motion on a Raspberry Pi 2B Message-ID: <caamcdef2y-xhd_ntw0q62oo_dcrdcf3as0e_2ex4gaoquvh...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Busy means something else already has the device open.
