The Snowy Owl reported from the Mpls-St. Paul airport was easily found this morning on a lamp post immediately south of the road as one exits the first tunnel. It moved three times, flushed once by a runway snowplow and twice by crows. It was on runway edges east of the Fedders building and southeast from the end of the road serving FedEx. It perched for several minutes atop the tallest signal tower north of the access road across from the FedEx parking lot. Photos of the owl will be posted on the blog www.startribune.com/blogs/wingnut

The R-b Grosbeak continues to appear at our feeders.
