Hi, I checked the Felton Prairie Thursday to see what birds were back and saw many Marbled Godwits and at least one (and possibly three) Chestnut-cololared Longspurs along the Longspur Road, plus a Loggerhead Shrike just up the hillslope from the house along Clay County 108. Also, I found 59 Prairie Chickens at 5 different leks, multiple Sandhill Cranes in small flocks throughout the prairie, a Common Loon at Flora Lake in Hitterdal, and a Great Egret at Hotsie Lake on Rt. 26.
