I found 78 species Saturday in Winona County: At Lewiston Sewage Ponds, there was 1 SNOW GOOSE, 2 HORNED GREBES, 166 RUDDY DUCKS, and 1 BARN SWALLOW. Also, there were 10 pectoral sandpipers, 4 lesser yellowlegs, 9 greater yellowlegs.
At Rileys Lake near the Winona airport, 3 YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS, and 1 CLIFF SWALLOW. Found 8 species of sparrows, including 1 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW. Only one Am. tree sparrow. Swamp sparrows were thick. Also, 3 TUFTED TITMICE along Old Goodview Road.
