As part of the Owl Survey I covered a route in north western Beltrami county on Friday Dec. 10th.
I found three Great Grey Owls that morning. 1 at 2.6 miles north on cty rd 511 1 on cty 5, 1 mile south of cty 32 intersection 1 on cty 3, 1 mile west of cty 14 intersection Also seen 1 Evening Grosbeak, my first! 2 Black-billed Magpie, separate locations 5 Bald Eagles 2 Great Horned Owls Had some good close looks at a Raven talking to himself in a snow laden spruce.
