On Thurs. Feb. 3rd we drove from Coon Rapids, MN north in search of some owl sightings...didn't see much until we got to an area on the northeast corner of Lake Mille Lacs...We made a drive around a fairly small square there, using 65, 47 and 2 county roads connecting them...we counted 10 owls in an hour or so. All together that day we saw 13, so we thought our trip was well worth it!
