Thanks --__--__-- Message: 7 From: "Matt Baumann" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: Wed, 01 Feb 2006 09:34:34 -0600 Subject: [mou] Red-Headed Woodpecker Nest Box Use Thanks everyone for the response as to where to locate them. Another question: Does anyone have any experience in providing nest boxes=20 for them ? I have read varying info on the web with some sources saying that=20 they regularily use them and others saying they shun nest boxes. Considering the nationwide decline of red-headed woodpeckers, if they DID=20 use nest boxes, perhaps an effort to provide nest boxes in ideal habitat could stabalize the population.
