On my way into work today I spotted a Red-shouldered Hawk in Woodbury hanging out on a power line. Luckily I keep my binos in my car and was able to watch it for awhile. It was getting dive bombed by barn swallows and so after it flew down into the ditch and must have gotten something, as it didn't come up for a few minutes. It eventually came out and just went back onto the power line. It was kind of cool as this is the only the second time I have seen one and the first wasn't too far from this area. To be more specific about its location, it was on Military Rd just west of the intersection with Woodlane Dr on the north side of the road. Happy Birding.
