There are no Snowy Owls being reported in Sherburne County. Nor in Mille Lacs County.
Reports of their absence in the area are continual and varied, not to mention perpetual. (Perhaps we need a bigger airport.) Does this make us the only two counties in the state without them? Tongue in cheek, Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties PS We have had a Townsend's Solitaire, Evening Grosbeak (or two), Great Blue Heron and other goodies over the last week - just feeling a little snakebitten - particularly after missing them at the Duluth Airport and in Sax-Zim. Do (state list) jinx birds communicate with each other?
