I know this isn't a bird question, but I assume there is someone on this list with more experience with MN snakes than me. So, I need such a person to help identify a snake I photographed this afternoon in Le Sueur County. It was larger than a Garter Snake, about an inch and a half in diameter. It was uniformly dark green on the upperside and a lighter green on the underside. It was around 3.5 to 4 feet in length. Let me know and I can send you photographs of the snake.
