4:10PM Jan. 22, 2008 While looking for anything alive in rural Dakota today, I found an male Snowy Owl on the west side of Emery Ave, 0.4 mi. south of 170th. It was about 200m west of the road standing on the ground. It was a bit spooky and flew as soon as I stopped the vehicle, but landed further into the field.
