Ten White-winged Scoters flew past us heading northwest up Big Stone
Lake on Saturday. Lars Benson, John Ellis, and I were at the wayside
rest on Hwy 7 between Ortonville and Beardsley.

Lots of migration, especially Greater White-Fronted Geese, all of the
other regular goose species, all of the regular Western Minnesota duck
species, Red-tailed Hawks, two Northern Goshawks, Tree Swallows, and
bazillions of juncos.
