Feeder activity today included a veritable horde of finch and sparrow comprised of: Purple Finch-about 80 Goldfinch-40 or so Redpoll-8 Junco-at least 100 Fox Sparrow-3 Song Sparrow-4 A. Tree Sparrow-3 The Sandhill Crane pair were almost in the yard this afternoon. Lots of calling on and off all day. Heard this evening: Great Horned Owl Northern Saw-whet Owl Ruffed Grouse Wilson's Snipe American Woodcock Kelly Larson The Bagley Farm The Bemidji Loft Eschew Obfuscation!
