This evening (8/17) there were 10 shorebird species at Purgatory Creek (Eden
Prairie, Hennepin Co.) Birds seen were similar to those reported from New
Germany today:
-Semi Plover
-Killdeer
-G. Yellowlegs
-L. Yellowlegs
-Spotted Sandpiper
-Semi Sandpiper
-Least Sandpiper
-Pectoral Sandpiper
-Stilt Sandpiper (flock of 10)
-R-N Phalarope (1 juv)

The mudflats were looking lovely. There are also more mudflats close to the
bridge near the Lifetime Fitness Center (for birders who would like to try in
the morning.)

Good birding!
