Now that's semipalmation! Nice shot, Shawn. I also like how the photo shows the slight wingtip extension and crossed-tip effect you see on some juv Semis; I remember how I used to get so confused early in my shorebird-learning phase, saying, well, that *looks* like a Semipalmated, but the wingtips are long, past the tail tip, and the books say that's what Baird's and White-rumped show. What is it?
